What is Engineering Ministries International (eMi)?
Engineering Ministries International (eMi) is a non-proffit Christian development organization made up of architects, engineers and design professionals who donate their skills to help children and families around the world step out of poverty and into a world of hope.
eMi designs facilities (including hospitals, orphanages, schools, clean water projects and more) that serve the poor in developing countries. These facilities directly impact communities by meeting physical needs and communicating God’s love in a practical way.
eMi partners with Christian workers, pastors, and other non-profits who have a vision to help the poor and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From their offices around the world, over
100 staff and interns labour to bring the Gospel to the poorest and least reached peoples on earth.
To produce its designs, eMi blends its team of in-house project managers with talented volunteer architects, engineers, land surveyors and construction managers recruited from around the world. These volunteers donate their time and travel costs to join eMi teams, adding their expertise and insight to give eMi clients the best designs possible.
